If you’re a fan of Super Smash Bros (and really, who isn’t?), then you will be happy to know that Nintendo plans to keep their release date of the game for both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U.
There have been rumors floating around that the Wii U version wouldn’t be released until next spring, but Nintendo has stated that the rumored release date was because of a misquotation.
Nintendo Director, Masahiro Sakurai, told Famitsu, a Japanese gaming magazine, that he fully intends to release both versions of the game in 2014. Not only will the game be out in the new year, but two new characters will also be joining the Super Smash Bros family: Rosalina and Luma from Super Mario Galaxy.
This much anticipated game has quite a legacy, and we hope that you enjoy it in the upcoming new year.
