The creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan, has confirmed his upcoming guest spot on Community. He is set to play a gold-digger who creates a rift between Annie and Abed, played by Alison Brie and Danny Pudi.

While Gilligan admitted that he wasn’t expecting it, he was happily surprised when his agent called him about the role. He also, however, confessed to being nervous about the role: “Dan wanted to see if I’d be interested in appearing in an episode. I was just charmed. There was no way I was going to say no to it. Even though, I have to say, I was nervous as hell.”

Gilligan is an amazing writer, so it was ironic when it was revealed that his biggest fear was messing up his lines. He said: “The whole crew and the cast could not have been more enthusiastic or supportive, and I did not want to waste the crew’s time by not knowing my lines…That was one of my big phobias, as well as just basically sucking and embarrassing myself.”

When asked for details about his character, he simply replied that his character uses the phrase “Yee-haw” a lot.

Even though we can’t exactly imagine Vince Gilligan yelling “Yee-haw,” we will of course tune in to watch his guest role on Community.
