Calling all Agents! This is Agent Arnold reporting for duty. While we gear up and get ready for the first brand new episode of the year of Agents of SHIELD, we have a special announcement to make.

Former head of Marvel entertainment and comic book writer Stan Lee is set to make an appearance in the February 4th episode of our favourite new fall TV show.

That’s right. In true Lee fashion, the creator of such works as Spiderman, Thor, X-Men and many others, will be making his next Marvel cameo in the ABC super show.

While details of his appearance have been kept under wraps, word around the media is that he won’t just be making a cameo but will have a “big role” in the episode.

Lee has had a presence in every Marvel movie since Fox’s X-Men which was released in 2000. Most recently, he was in Thor: The Dark World as a mental ward patient.

While Lee is most notable for the movie cameos and his comic book work, he’s also appeared in other TV shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Nikita, and Eureka. He’s also provided voice work for many Marvel animated programs such as Ultimate Spiderman, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, and Robot Chicken.

So, Agents, are you excited to see Lee making the jump to our lovely little TV show? Sound of below and don’t miss Agents of SHIELD tonight at 8/7c.
