In odd news, it looks as though the world of Westeros is coming to life, as English village plans to change its name
to celebrate the release of Game of Thrones
season 3 on DVD.
Even though Winter has already come in the UK, Kings Langley in Hertfordshire will be known as Kings Landing – the name of the main city in the fantasy drama, and home to popular characters such as Cerise and Tyrion Lannister, Lord Petyr Baelish and Sansa Stark – for a week.
An executive producer overheard the village listed as a stop, while waiting for an InnerCity train. His suggestion must of went down well with the town as the area will be temporarily renamed in the week beginning February 17.
Dacorum Borough Council member Susan Lea, said she hoped businesses and restaurants will get involved in the one off week.
Game of Thrones, Season 3 will be available on February 17.
