Fall Out Boy And Paramore Announce Joint Tour

Yesterday, Digital Spy reported that Paramore and Fall Out Boy have plans to tour together. The tour, which is being called “Monumentour” will include 34 shows in the summer. The tour is set to begin at the XFinity Theater in Hartford Connecticut on June 19th and end at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, California on August 17. Presale tickets go on sale on Monday, January 13th at 10:00 am., tickets to the general public go on sale Friday, January 17th and Saturday January 18th at 10:00 am.

According to Rolling Stone, Danish band, New Politics are set to open for the tour, including some of the dates that only feature Fall Out Boy. This is the second tour for Fall Out Boy, who reunited last year after a three year hiatus. The song, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up”  from their most recent album, Save Rock and Roll, was on the list of 100 Best Songs of 2013.

Paramore’s Hayley Williams tweeted about the plans for the tour being leaked, then added a thank you to fans.
