We’ve barely managed to get through the first month of the new year and Justin Bieber has already dominated headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The “Baby” singer’s home was raided this week by police officers with a felony search warrant after a neighbor accused him of egging his home. During the raid, Bieber’s pal Lil Za was arrested for felony drug possession but was later released.

CNN recently ran an update to this developing story stating that the “security video system in Justin Bieber’s mansion could be the best witness to the teen pop star’s alleged egg attack on a neighbor.”

“It was extensive,” said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. David Thompson. “I believe it was installed very well and covered all areas of Mr. Bieber’s house. His security system was well operated.”

It is being reported that detectives are “scouring the video frame-by-frame for clues” and Thomson says, “It will either prove or disprove, or maybe neither.”

CNN also reported that the neighbor making the accusations does not have a video security system, TMZ apparently obtained video of the egging. Unfortunately the eggers cannot be seen in the video so tests will be run to match the audio to find matches to Biebers voice.

Neither Bieber nor his camp decided to talk to CNN about the incident, but we will continue brining you the latest as the saga unfolds.
