Things are looking not so bright for Star Wars 1313 after Disney allowed the trademark to expire.
According to The Escapist
, the video-game is classified as “abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued” by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Star Wars 1313, named after level 1313 in the subterranean metropolis beneath the surface of planet Coruscant, was a third-person action-adventure video-game being developed by LucasArts. Compared to other Star Wars games, 1313 would take a more mature direction and emphasize fast-paced, gadget and weapon-based combat using tools exclusive to bounty hunters, like our friend Boba Fett.
It was intended for Playstation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360.
EA Games could revisit the license; however, the develop of their Battlefield title for 2015 may keep them back from pursuing the project.
