After 12 years away from the game, Lance Bass is finally releasing a new song! The former ‘N Syncer’s new song is titled “Walking On Air” and he’s enlisted the musical talents of Anise K, Bella Blue, and Snoop Dogg. Take a listen to the new single here:

“For the last two years I’ve been listening to demos, just trying to figure out if I want to get back in the studio,” he told E! Online. “I hadn’t heard anything that resonated with me. But a couple of months ago, a track from Anise K landed in my lap from a friend of mine and he was like, ‘I think this will be your first song.’”

Bass describes this new track as fun to dance to and that “these days songs have to be played in clubs and this is one of those songs that you’ll definitely hear in the club. I’m sure it will be remixed so many different times.”

With Lance making music again and Justin Timberlake at the top of his game maybe this will be the first step in getting JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick back together for an ‘N Sync reunion! Well, that may be a little ways down the road. When Lance was asked about what his performance career going forward holds he said: “I have zero plans. I’m going to release it and if people love it, hopefully it will climb the charts…I’m just going to play it by ear.”

In 2013, versions of “Walking On Air” were already released in Australia and Belgium and featured vocals from Belgian pop star Ian Thomas. “Walking On Air” will drop on iTunes tomorrow.
