The first photos from the set of 24: Live Another Day have hit the web and it looks like Jack Bauer is in for some serious action!

24: Live Another Day is a brand new show that will attempt to revive its predecessor, 24, which was cancelled in 2010. The show is set in London and we will be seeing Agent Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) being hunted by a (presumably) sexy CIA agent played by Yvonne Strahovski. I say she’ll probably be sexy because it’s Yvonne Strahovski and it’s hard not to be when you’re her.

The set photos appear to be from a pretty intense action scene that was filmed in Whitechapel in East London. It looks like they had some guns being pointed, people running, cars exploding and then of course a super intense coffee break between takes with co-star Mary Lynn Rajskub.

Sutherland recently spoke to Vulture and told them that the new show aims to “get back to that very personal first season” of 24. He wants to get back to the times when the show was starting out small and doing stuff “that made people feel”. Sutherland also said that just because they are starting out the show in the big way this time, doesn’t mean that they can’t descent into something that is intimate, heavy and personal.

The show has also cast Benjamin Bratt and Tate Donovan along for the adventure.

24: Live Another Day will debut on Fox in the US on May 5 with a two-hour premiere.
