Hey Marvel fans! Can you picture a Marvel movie without Samuel L. Jackson making an appearance? You may have to as the actor is slowly coming to the end of his original nine movie contract. Jackson has appeared as S.H.I.E.L.D. director, Nick Fury in six films and is getting ready to appear in a seventh, his appearance in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series does not count as one of the nine appearances. Jackson has appeared in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and is ready to do Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
When asked about his appearances he said, “I just know that the Marvel Universe is there, that there are things going on, and that I have three pictures left on my nine-picture deal.”
However the movie legend did say he would be open to the idea of extending his Marvel connections he said “Hell yeah! Why wouldn’t I?”
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits movie theatres on April 4th in the US and March 28th in the UK.
