Cheers to all the Little Monsters out there! The Mother Monster, Lady Gaga, has possibly revealed her next single! Are you excited.
Featured on her newest album ARTPOP, the song likely to be chosen is “Gypsy”. This piece was recently included on a Soundcloud playlist by her label Interscope. This playlist is being shipped to US radio stations. Will this be a good choice? Yes or no?
However, there is a possibility it is not the new single. Lady Gaga has not confirmed that “Gypsy” is indeed a new single. If the piece has been chosen, it will be the third single off ARTPOP. The first two were “Applause” and “Do What U Want” (with R-Kelly).
In other news, her latest LP will be released in China. For the last three years, all of Gaga’s music had been banned in the Asian country because of “supposed vulgarity”. That is great news for Chinese fans.
Gaga is also showing compassion towards troubled pop star, Justin Bieber. She told her audience, “Hey monsters. I know everyone today is taking about Justin’s arrest and all sorts of words and judgements are happening on the Internet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves, but I think we should be supportive of Beliebers. They deserve, just like any other fan, to feel strong for each other and Justin so they can continue to share the bond they have through music.”
So what do you think? Do you really think “Gypsy” is the best choice as a single? Is there another one you like better? And what do you think of Gaga’s quote about #supportingjustin and his fans? Comment below!
