Vin Diesel is very popular on Facebook, often posting cute selfies and movie teasers which literally receive millions of likes. In fact, Vin Diesel is the 15th most popular Facebook page, his 63 million fans trumping such big names such as Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.

One of the great factors of his page is the personally recorded videos, one of which was uploaded earlier today. This seven minute video in particular showed an extremely happy Vin Diesel, rocking out to a bit of Katy Perry and Beyoncé.

Artistically shot in black and white, the video began with Vin Diesel singing/lip-syncing/dancing to Katy Perry’s Dark Horse. It was clear that he was extremely happy, and the reason behind this was revealed around the 3:24 mark, as Diesel takes a moment to address the fans:

“Guys I’m just, I’m excited I’m happy, and calling you guys or shouting out to you guys to say thank you. Universal just called me and told me that Riddick is No. 1 on the EVD charts,” he said. “There’s no way in the world Riddick would have been made without you guys, you know that…remember how arduous of a road it was to get them to make it rated R and to do it with such a low budget.”

With a large, toothy smile, the actor continues:

“And it’s a win for all of us, and really really really thank you so much. Yeah, I’m excited. Of course, Universal is also saying they want to develop the next one!”

He then takes a moment to discuss the Grammys, before slowly starting clicking, clapping and dancing his was through Beyoncé’s Drunk in Love.
