Probably the best decision he’s made in quite a while, pop star Justin Bieber is spending some time with his nearest and dearest.
“He’s happy to be with family. He’s going to spend some time with them and is doing his best to keep focused and not be distracted. He’s learning from the experiences of the past couple of weeks and knows it’s time to move on and refocus his attention on work and family,” a source told E! News exclusively.
The 19-year-old is in Stratford, Ontario with his father Jeremy Bieber and little brother Jaxon.
Hopefully bonding with them will encourage him to watch his step for the rest of the year.
Since, you know, he’s tripped and fallen flat on his face (figuratively) several times over the past couple of weeks.
Luckily, the police were there to help him up! And slap some handcuffs on him.
His California home was raided by police after Justin allegedly egged a neighbor’s house, he was arrested in Miami and possibly falsely accused of drag racing and DUI, and he turned himself in to a Toronto precinct Wednesday for assault on a limo driver last year.
More recently, he and his entourage invited a stripper to entertain them in a Los Angeles studio. Now a photo is circulating of he and friend Khalil Sharieff with their faces buried in her cleavage.
Home is where the heart is, though, and we’re all hoping he’s doing some soul-searching while in Canada.
“He is happy to be at home,” another source revealed. “He is excited to see his little brother and sister and wants to spend time with them and his dad. He is good. He’s being very positive.”
The arraignment for his Miami arrest is on February 14 but the “Confident” singer won’t have to appear, because the charges against him are misdemeanors.
The investigation surrounding the egging incident is currently ongoing, and a decision is being made on whether or not a judge will issue a search warrant to search Bieber’s confiscated phone.
In the meantime, a third source said that Bieber plans to sell his Calabasas home and move to Los Angeles.
His parents don’t seem to be laying down the law, even though that’s exactly what he might need right now.
“Neither of his parents are calling the shots at all,” the same source added. “That’s the problem.”
