Pop music fans rejoice as two of pop’s biggest divas are planning on working together. A source revealed to Us Weekly that a Britney Spears and Lady Gaga duet will be happening soon.

The news of the two divas collaborating follows Lady Gaga’s recent appearance at Britney Spears Piece of Me concert in Las Vegas on February 1. Lady Gaga attended the concert as a VIP and was even invited backstage to Spears’ dressing room where she took a photo with the superstar. Gaga captioned the iconic photo saying “me and Brit Brit.”

During the concert, Lady Gaga was seen throwing roses on the stage and blowing kisses at Britney. Gaga raved about Britney’s Las Vegas residency tweeting “she looked so gorgeous, the show was so much fun.” She even went on to give praise to Britney’s dad’s cooking. “Britney’s dad gave us homemade BBQ, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eatin’ in my LIFE,” Gaga tweeted.

Rumours of a Britney Spears and Lady Gaga duet first began back in December 2013. During a web chat promoting her new album Britney Jean, Spears said “I would do a duet with Lady Gaga. I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she’s very different and interesting and intricate.” Lady Gaga responded by tweeting Spears “let’s do this bitch it’s time.”

Personally I cannot wait to hear what these two pop superstars have in store.
